Inventory

Each stakeholder agency, company, or group owns, operates, maintains or plans ITS systems in the region. The Regional ITS Architecture inventory is a list of "elements" that represent all existing and planned ITS systems in a region as well as non–ITS systems that provide information to or get information from the ITS systems.

The 911 Dispatch center serves as primary dispatch for the City of Lawrence, Eudora, Baldwin City, and Lecompton and can also dispatch KU Police.
Douglas County Emergency Operations Center (EOC)Emergency operations center (EOC) for Douglas County. Responsible for communications and coordination of local resources during a disaster or large scale incident.

Inter–agency Information Sharing SystemThe Inter–agency Information Sharing System will be a platform for the Region's agencies to provide planned events and maintenance and construction plans with other Regional agencies in order to be able to coordinate and plan. The site may also provide a platform for agencies to share real–time operations information.

Over time, the information sharing site willbe expanded to serve as a regional data warehouse to provide archived and real–time data for planning, response and analysis.
Journey Trip PlannerThe Journey Trip Planner will be a web site and service for mobile devices that provides trip planning information across multiple modes, including traffic transit, pedestrian, bicycle and
KC Scout Traffic CenterScout manages traffic on more than 125 miles of continuous freeways in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Scout uses cameras to monitor the highways from its traffic management center in Lee's Summit, relies on sensors to gage traffic flow, uses large electronic message boards to send urgent traffic notices to drivers along the freeways, and activates a Highway Advisory Radio system that motorists in Missouri can tune to in the event of a freeway incident.
