The request is for $215,000 and the grant is administered by the State of Kansas. The funding is additional money available from the 2009 NSP1 program, of which the City of Lawrence was a grantee. The funds will go to a partnership with Tenants to Homeowners for development of two affordable rental housing units on La Salle Street.
