Please include the following item on the City Commission regular agenda for consideration at the March 30, 2010 meeting:
On March 30, 2010 the City Commission will open a public hearing to consider a request by owner Hedge Tree, LLC, Roger D. Johnson, 1705 N. 1399 Road, Lawrence, KS 66046, for the vacation of an unoccupied utility easement. The property line is being moved by Minor Subdivision and a new utility easement will be proposed at the new property line.
All utilities, as well as city staff, have reviewed this request and have no objections. All property owners within 200 feet have also been notified and no objections have been received.
Action Requested: Hold public hearing and, pending discussion, approve order of vacation.
