·         Rearranged the order of Agenda Items No. 3 and No. 4; and

·         Added to Agenda Item No. 4 to consider revision to bylaws

 

 

1.            Public Input

The public is allowed to speak at public comment after first being recognized by the Chair, except that any complaints or comments regarding individually identifiable officers are not allowed. Rather, any such comments or complaints may be provided to the Board in writing, and the Board will forward such comment or complaint to the appropriate person within the Lawrence Police Department. The Board may establish reasonable limitations on the allowable
length of public comment. As a general practice, the Board will not discuss or debate these items, nor will it make decisions on items presented during this time.

 

 

2.            Approve minutes from January 24, 2019 meeting

 

3.            Presentation about the Law Enforcement Contact Study from Robert Bieniecki, Douglas County Criminal Justice Coordinator  

 

4.            Receive update on ordinance change request to the City Commission and consider revision to bylaws   Proposed Bylaw Additions

 

5.            Brainstorm and have follow up discussion regarding January 24, 2019 presentation about Lawrence Police Department community  2018 Public Engagement End of Year Report

 

6.            Cancel March 28, 2019 meeting

 

7.            Discuss remainder of 2019 meeting schedule

 

8.            Adjourn
