Executive Summary: |
The Big Pig event organizers have applied for a street event temporary use of right-of-way permit for their 2019 event which will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019. The event will include the closure of the 100 block of E 9th Street for the event.
The event applicant has requested an ordinance authorizing the sale, possession and consumption of alcohol in the 100 block of E 9th Street for the event.
This event request has been reviewed by Parks and Recreation, Municipal Services & Operations, Police, Fire/Medical, Downtown Lawrence Inc., Lawrence Transit, Explore Lawrence, and Lawrence Association of Neighborhoods.
