Transit Amenities Update

The two tables attached provide further clarification on the potential locations for transit amenities. The first table is a listing of current bus stops that have passenger activity of 25 or more boardings a day or are expected to reach this level of activity in the near future. The second table is a listing of current bus stops that have been determined to need additional amenities. To accommodate the installation of these amenities additional concrete will need to be poured at most of these locations in order to maintain American with Disability Act (ADA) standards for sidewalk width and design.

Our evaluation of passenger activity does not differentiate by the type of person using the stop. This would be in direct conflict with federal civil rights laws, regulations and requirements. However, we do take into consideration as to whether the stop is on University property. In that case, amenities are provided by the University. Infrastructure and amenities not on campus are generally provided by the City.
