Award bid and allow the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Service Systems for janitorial services for Bid No. B1903, in the amount of $177,192.00.

 

Executive Summary:

The janitorial contract that the City was previously engaged in has not been rebid since 2012. The current vendor expressed their desire not to renew the contract under the same conditions. Due to the number of facilities impacted by this service, Bid No. B1903 was coordinated with several divisions within Municipal Services & Operations (MSO), Police, Fire, Planning and Developmental Services, Municipal Court and Community Health Facility to establish a service level and expectation for contracted janitorial services. A mandatory pre-bid walk through of the facilities was conducted the week of January 22nd and bids were received on February 5, 2019.  Service Systems submitted a bid of $177,192.00 for these services.
