Authorize the City Manager to sign a consent to sublease for Hetrick Air Services. |

Executive Summary: |
On December 4, 2018, The City Commission authorized the City Manager to execute a long-term Fixed Base Operator (FBO) premises lease agreement and a ground lease agreement for the Lawrence Municipal Airport, Lot 1, Block 2, with Hetrick Air Services, Inc.
On December 13, 2018, the City received the attached correspondence from Hetrick Air Services (HAS). The letter identified new services that HAS will be providing at the airport. Additionally, the letter describes a change in the majority ownership of Hetrick Air Services. Mr. Hetrick is requesting the City’s consent to sublease the ground and an acknowledgement of the new organization of HAS. Upon the Commission’s authorization, city staff will prepare the appropriate letter for the City Manager’s signature.
