Conduct a public hearing regarding the establishment of a benefit district for the construction of Queens Road from 6th Street to Eisenhower Drive and a benefit district for improvement to the intersection at 6th Street and Queens Road.
Adopt Resolution No. 7267 establishing the benefit districts and ordering the improvements to be completed. |

Executive Summary: |
On September 4, 2018, the City Commission considered three options for the establishment of the benefit districts to construct: · Queens Road from 6th Street to Eisenhower Drive · Intersection improvements at 6th Street and Queens Road
After receiving public comment and discussion, the City Commission directed staff to hold a public hearing on the benefit districts using the area identified in Option 1 and increasing the City’s participation by an additional $290,000.
Attached is a staff memorandum providing the history, evolution, and discussion of the area proposed for the benefit districts. |
