Set bid date of October 23, 2018 for the 2018 Weatherization Grant Program for installation of storm windows Bid No. B1849; installation of blown attic insulation, Bid No. B1850; and weather-stripping of entry doors Bid No. B1851; at 17 addresses within the city limits of Lawrence.

Executive Summary: |
The Community Development Division of Planning & Development Services offers a Weatherization program that provides small grants to homeowners within the City of Lawrence limits to install storm windows where applicable, add attic insulation to R-38 as needed, and weather-strip entry doors as needed. These grants are funded with the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds administered by the Community Development division. Bids are solicited by staff. There were 19 applications this year, and 17 are eligible to receive all, or some, of the improvements listed above. |
