Executive Summary: |
At the November 6, 2017 Transportation Commission Meeting, the board considered a request to install no parking on Surrey Drive from 25th Terrace to 23rd Terrace. In August 2017 the Transportation Commission received a request for no parking. A site visit was conducted by city staff and parking conditions were reviewed with aerial images. Results from the visit and aerial images are attached in the attached report. City staff recommended denial of the request.
Six (6) residents provided email correspondence; one (1) in favor of no parking, one (1) in favor of parking on one side, and three (3) opposed to no parking. That correspondence is attached with this memo. The Transportation commission voted 11-0 to recommending denying the request. |
