RE:	Signs of Community Interest Request, Douglas County Master Gardeners

The Douglas County Master Gardeners have requested permission to display signs at various locations throughout the City to promote their Spring Garden Fair on April 9, 2016.  The signs are three square feet in area (18 inches by 24 inches) and are proposed to be placed in the City right-of-way at some or all of the following locations:

23^rd and Wakarusa             23^rd and Kasold

23^rd and Iowa                    23^rd and Louisiana

23^rd and Mass                    23^rd and Harper

19^th and Naismith               19^th and Mass

19^th and Haskell                 19^th and Harper

15^th and Kasold                  15^th and Iowa

15^th and Connecticut           15^th and Haskell

9^th and Iowa                     9^th and Maine

9^th and Connecticut             6^th and Folks Rd

6^th and Monterrey Way        6^th and Kasold

6^th and Maine                    6^th and Kentucky

2^nd and Lyons                    Entrance to 2110 Harper (fairgrounds)

27^th and Iowa

Signs would be displayed beginning on Wednesday, April, 6 and removed on Sunday, April 10, 2016.  

Action

Approve as “signs of community interest”, a request from Douglas County Master Gardeners to place signs at various requested locations from April 6 through April 10, 2016.
