RE:	Request that the City Commission review revisions to Resolution No. 6773 - Art Commission-Membership & Responsibilities, repeal Resolution No. 6773 and adopt Resolution No. 7140

Resolution No. 6773 was last updated in August, 2008.  To assure congruency with current practice, the Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission reviewed and revised Resolution No. 6773 in 2015.

At its February 11, 2015 meeting, the Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission (LCAC) voted unanimously to recommend that the Lawrence City Commission adopt revisions intended to bring Resolution No. 6773, which establishes LCAC membership, into alignment with current practice.

Resolution No. 7140 is proposed (with revisions marked in blue) for City Commission review.

Action

Staff recommends that the City Commission repeal Resolution No. 6773 and adopt Resolution 7140.
