RE:	City Manager’s Employment Agreement

Attached please find a Third Addendum to the Employment Agreement between the City and City Manager David Corliss.  It increases the City’s annual contribution to a deferred compensation program on Mr. Corliss’ behalf by $1,500.  It authorizes Mr. Corliss to accrue up to 900 hours of vacation leave.  Finally, it provides the City Manager with the option of cashing in his vacation hours over and above 600 hours, subject to the Mayor’s approval.  The changes to Mr. Corliss’ contract, if approved, will be effective as of the first regular pay period of 2011.  All other provisions of the Employment Agreement, as amended by the Addendum to Contract, and Second Addendum to Contract are reaffirmed.

Action Requested:  Authorize the Mayor to execute the Third Addendum to the City Manager’s Employment Contract, if appropriate.
