Fire Medical Truck 5 construction update
Please see the attached update (including photos) on the construction of Fire Medical’s Truck 5. Much of the interior and exterior equipment has been installed and the aerial device sections will be installed soon.
Gas prices and commuting
Mayor Amyx requested information regarding the potential impact of the possible increase of prices in gasoline and commuters that either live or work in Lawrence. Attached is a memo from Roger Zalneraitis, Economic Development Coordinator/Planner, addressing some changes in commuter patterns, though the effect on commuting patterns from gasoline price increases in not directly conclusive.
City website 4th quarter and 2010 annual statistics
The City of Lawrence website, lawrenceks.org, received 180,362 visits from October 1 to December 31, 2010 and had 500,812 pages viewed during that time period. The top 10 most view pages during that time period were:

For 2010, the City of Lawrence website, www.lawrenceks.org received 877, 938 total visits and a total number of page views of 2,519,814 (50% of visitors were new visitors to the site). For 2009, the website received 544,833 total visits (up 58%). The top 25 viewed pages for the year are:
