RE:	Appointments for various boards and commissions

I recommend the following individual(s) for appointment(s).  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission:

Appoint Mandy Lamb to a position that begins 02/01/10 and ends 01/31/13.

Public Transit Advisory Committee:

Reappoint Mark Hurt to a position that expires 12/31/12.  Appoint Marion Huckle to a position that expires 12/31/12.

Northeast Regional Homeland Security Council:

Appoint Captain Mike Pattrick as the City of Lawrence Representative for the Northeast Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council (see attached letter).
