Please include the following item on the City Commission agenda for consideration at the August 18, 2009 meeting:
Project History. On March 3, 2009 the City received a petition for street, water and sanitary sewer improvements for Fairfield East Addition No. 1.
The City Commission approved Resolutions 6831 and 6832 establishing the respective benefit district.
Project Description. The proposed project will include street, curb and gutter, sidewalks, water main, sanitary sewer main, and lift station/force main for the development. The benefit district will pay 100% of the cost of the improvements. No city funds will be used.

Project Status. Attached is a proposed/tentative project schedule. Please note bids will be received on September 1 and presented to the City Commission for award that same evening.
Action Request.
1. Set bid date of September 1, 2009 for Project No. PW0915 (City Bid No. 09052), Fairfield East Addition No. 1, Exchange Place and Fairfield Street, Street, Stormwater, and Waterline Improvements.
2. Set bid date of September 1, 2009 for Project No. 09S003 (City Bid No. 09053), Fairfield East Addition No. 1, Exchange Place and Fairfield Street, Sanitary Sewer Improvements.
