RE:	First Southern Baptist Church Neighborhood Carnival sign request

The First Southern Baptist Church is planning a Churchwide/Neighborhood Carnival on Sunday, August 17 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. and requests (see attached) approval to place a sign in the right-of-way in front of the church property at 4300 West 6^th Street promoting the event.  The sign will be placed on August 3 and will be removed on August 17, 2008.

ACTION:      Approve as a “sign of community interest” a request from the First Southern Baptist Church to place a sign in the right-of-way in front of the church property at 4300 W. 6^th Street from August 3 – August 17, promoting a Churchwide/Neighborhood Carnival.
