RE:	June 17, 2008 Regular Agenda Item 23^rd Street Bridge Replacement Update

KDOT has begun the preliminary design process for the future replacement of the 23^rd Street Bridge. City and County staff have provided input into the project.

At the City Commission meeting on June 17, 2008 HNTB and KDOT will provide the City Commission with an update of the project and answer any questions.

A public meeting will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2008, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Building 1 and 2 to receive input, answer questions, and address concerns.
