Please include the following item on the City Commission Consent Agenda for consideration at the November 6, 2007 meeting:
On November 6, 2007 the City Commission will open/hold a public hearing on the vacation of a drainage and utility easement in the Park West Subdivision. This subdivision is located in the northeast corner of the intersection at Queens Road and Overland Drive. Both easements were dedicated to the City when Park West was platted. As the area has developed, neither are necessary for their intended purpose.
All utilities, as well as property owners within 200 feet, were notified and no objections were received.
The city has reviewed all the records and staff is recommending approval of this vacation.
Action Requested: Hold public hearing and, pending discussion, approve order of vacation if appropriate.
