RE:	Additional Consultant Services from Gould & Evans – Library Expansion Project

Attached please find a scope of services prepared by Steve Clark, Gould Evans, regarding additional analysis work on the proposed Lawrence Public Library expansion project. This scope of services has been reviewed and approved by Bruce Flanders, Library Director. These additional services are budgeted at $18,943.

These services are in addition to services provided over the past year totaling $57,000.00. The additional services include a revision of the feasibility study to determine the impact on library services of a smaller expansion than originally projected. With this new information available, the City Commission, upon advice from the Library Board, can fashion next steps for determination of the library project.

Recommended Action: Authorize contract extension with Gould Evans Architects for $18,943 in additional architecture planning services for the library expansion project for a total authorized amount of $75,943.
