On May 23, 2006 the City of Lawrence opened proposals for the following:  

Project 12-SR5-306(C) - City Bid No. B06016

2006 Overlay and Curb Repair Program, Phase 3

Street Improvements

Engineer’s Estimate	$1,164,293.50
Kansas Heavy Construction	$1,127,500.00
LRM Industries, Inc.	$1,129,879.70

Recommendation Action:

Approve bid from Kansas Heavy Construction for Project 12-SR5-306(C), 2006 Overlay and Curb Repair Program, Phase 3, in the amount of $1,127,500.00 provided the contractor can meet the terms established in the contract documents.

This project will be funded $725,000 from the Public Works budget and $402,500 from Capital Improvement Reserve Fund.
