Vacation of Utility Easements Free State High School and Southwest Junior High School
|
On February 14, 2005 the City Commission will hold a public hearing on the request of USD 497 to vacate portions of two easements being used for waterlines at Free State High School and Southwest Junior High School. Both schools are expanding their facilities thus necessitating relocation of existing water mains. The school district has already provided new easements and will pay for the relocation of the mains. No other utilities are involved, and I have not received any comments. All work will be contained on school property.
Action Requested:
Open public hearings and, pending comment, approve order of vacation for both Free State High School and Southwest Junior High School.
