Recommendations/Options/Action Requested: 

 

Approve Special Event Permit, SE-17-00363, for the Pie Auction for the Sunrise Project at 1501 Learnard Avenue to run from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

 

 

 

 

Executive Summary:

As a part of the Special Event Permit review process, events categorized as Type 5 may be granted a Temporary Special Event Permit by the City Commission.  The event’s activities will utilize the on-site parking and patrons will use on-street parking in the area.

 

The event will have outdoor music on a 10 ft. x 10 ft. stage and several informational booths, both indoors and outdoors. Food will be served inside the building and beverages will be served outside.

 

This is a one-time event which will run from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017.
