Award Bid No. B1856 for one (1) Roll off container refuse truck for the Solid Waste Division, to Armor Equipment Company in the amount of $126,188.00, as part of the 2019 CIP (CIP# PW19F4) replacement schedule.

 

 

Executive Summary:

 

The Solid Waste Division identified the replacement of unit #473 in the 2019 budget and 2019 CIP (PW19F4). Unit #473 has been identified to meet the replacement criteria that utilize age, maintenance, and upkeep.  Bids were opened on November 27, 2018 for the replacement of unit #473.  Central Maintenance Garage and Solid Waste Staff recommend the low bid from Armor Equipment.

Fiscal Impact (Amount/Source):

 

The fiscal impact to the City is a net cost of $126,188.00, including the trade-in value of unit #473. This purchase is a 2019 fiscal encumbrance. The requisition for this encumbrance will proceed in January of 2019. This replacement has been identified in the CIP process and budgeted for 2019 (CIP# PW19F4).
