Executive Summary: |
Community Development (PDS) offers a Weatherization program that provides small grants to homeowners, within the City of Lawrence limits to install storm windows where applicable, add attic insulation to R-38 as needed and weather-strip entry doors as needed. These grants are funded with the CDBG grant funds administered by the Community Development department and bids are solicited by department staff for better pricing. There were 19 applications this year, and 17 are eligible to receive all or some of the improvements listed above. The successful bidders are listed above with the bid results attached separately. |
