Appoint City Commissioner to provide testimony to the State Taskforce on Transportation. |

Executive Summary: |
The Kansas Legislature created a Joint Legislative Task Force to evaluate the previous and current transportation programs and make recommendations for future transportation needs for the State of Kansas.
At the joint City/County/USD meeting on September 19, 2018, the City and County discussed testifying at the meeting on November 8, 2018 which will be held in Olathe. City and County Engineering staff will develop a presentation highlighting the need for the west leg of K-10 expansion, including interim (first Phase) improvements at 27th Street/Wakarusa and K-10 to be completed as a priority project for our community and the state.
A representative of both the City and the County should be present to provide the testimony.
