Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:

Approve the 2019 City Commission meeting schedule.

Executive Summary:

Attached is the 2019 City Commission Meeting schedule which needs approval of the City Commission.

 

Items to note include:

 

·         There are two meetings in January – January 8 is a work session, and Monday, January 14 will be a regular meeting with the election of Mayor and Vice-Mayor.

·         Suggest cancelling the March 12 work session as that is the week of Spring Break and the NLC Conference.

·         Suggest cancelling the June 11 work session due to the 30th anniversary of Sister Cities Lawrence friendship with Eutin, Germany.

·         Should any additional meetings be needed during the year, they can be added.
