Deny request for no parking on one side of the street on Goodell Court. |

Executive Summary: |
At the December 4, 2017 Transportation Commission Meeting, the board considered a request to restrict parking to one side of Goodell Court. A site visit was conducted by city staff and several pictures of parking were also sent by residents. Photographs and aerial images are in the attached report. City staff recommended denial of the request due to sufficient space for emergency vehicles to pass with parking on both sides.
Eight (8) residents provided email correspondence, two (2) in favor of no parking and six (6) opposed to no parking. Three (3) residents (who provided email correspondence) spoke to the Transportation Commission, one (1) in favor and two (2) opposed. That correspondence is attached with this memo. The Transportation Commission voted 9-0 to recommending denial of the no parking request. |
