Executive Summary: |
At the November 6, 2017 Transportation Commission Meeting, the board considered a request to add reserved parking for persons with disabilities in front of the residence at 1909 Edgelea Rd. City staff recommended approval of the request.
The citizen who made the reserved parking request presented in front of the Transportation Commission and provided two (2) letters of support from persons familiar with their disabled daughters situation. Staff received correspondence from four (4) neighbors living on Edgelea Road who were against the proposed reserved parking. One of these neighbors spoke during the meeting to voice disapproval of the request. The Transportation Commission voted (11-0) to recommend approval of the request. |
