An agent of Alvamar, Inc. approached the department regarding Block 2, Tract D, Alvabet Addition as a donation for parkland/open space to the City of Lawrence. The City has an interest in the tract, as it is an extension of DeVictor Park, providing additional green space. The conservation easement in which the tract resides, formally named Ironwood North, Tract A, states greenspace would be the responsibility of the owners or may be conveyed to adjacent property owners or dedicated to the City for park purposes. |
