Authorize the City Manager to submit a letter of support for a grant application for interpretive historic signage for the Grover Barn facility, located at 2819 Stonebarn Terrace, a site of the of the underground railroad, as requested by the Watkins Museum of History. |

Executive Summary: |
The Watkins Museum of History is requesting a letter of support for a grant application to extend interpretive historic signage for the Grover Barn facility. The facility is owned by the City and is an important historical site, having served as a station on the underground railroad. The signage would enable the public to better understand the importance of the site and appreciate its historic and architectural significance. If awarded the grant, the Watkins Museum would work with the City and other stakeholders regarding the signage on the facility. |
