Executive Summary: |
The University Place Neighborhood Association event organizers have applied for street event temporary use of right-of-way permit for their 2017 event, to be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the 1700 block of Mississippi Street.
The event applicant has requested an ordinance authorizing the sale, possession and consumption of alcohol on 1700 block of Mississippi Street during their event.
The request to sell, possess and consume alcohol within the public right-of-way has been reviewed pursuant to City of Lawrence Code, Chapter IV, Article 1, Section 4-113 and was found to not be within 400 feet of a church or school. |
