Executive Summary: |
At the May 1, 2017 Transportation Commission Meeting, the board considered a request for traffic calming on Carson Place and Campbell Drive. Traffic data obtained in September of 2016, near the time of the request, found that traffic volumes and 85th percentile speeds did not meet the City of Lawrence Traffic Calming Policy criteria for installing traffic calming devices.
The Transportation Commission voted 9-0 to recommend denial of the request.
