RESOLUTION NO. 7221

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF A DUMP TRUCK AND DECLARING THE CITY’S INTENT TO REIMBURSE THE COSTS THEREOF FROM PROCEEDS OF A LEASE PURCHASE AGREEMENT.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS

SECTION 1.  The Governing Body of the City of Lawrence, Kansas (the “City”) hereby authorizes the acquisition of a dump truck at a cost of not to exceed $185,000, plus costs of issuance.

SECTION 2.  The City expects to make capital expenditures on and after the date of adoption of this Resolution in connection with acquisition of the dump truck and the City intends to reimburse itself for such expenditures with the proceeds of a lease purchase agreement in the maximum principal amount of $185,000, plus costs of issuance.

SECTION 3.   This Resolution shall be effective from and after adoption by the Governing Body.
