Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:
Deny request for Traffic Calming on Prescott Drive.
Executive Summary:		At the April 3, 2017 Transportation Commission Meeting, the board considered the request for Traffic Calming on Prescott Drive between 8^th Street/Goldfield Street and Harvard Road. The request is explained in detail in the attached Memo and Attachments document. Traffic data obtained during October and November of 2016, found that none of the City’s criteria for consideration of Traffic Calming are currently met. At the Transportation Commission meeting, one (1) resident spoke in favor of Traffic Calming; one (1) resident spoke in opposition to Traffic Calming; one (1) resident emailed in favor of Traffic Calming; and three (3) residents emailed in opposition to Traffic Calming. The Transportation Commission voted unanimously, 9-0, to recommend denial of the request.
