Executive Summary: |
The Lawrence Public Library is applying for a $100,000 grant from the EBSCO Solar Grant Program. This funding would be utilized to install a solar photovoltaic array on the roof of the library, and to provide some in-library educational displays about solar energy and sustainability.
The grant application is due April 28, 2017. The Library is requesting a letter of support from the Mayor and City Commission to include with their application.
