The Little Red School House will be hosting an event in Watson Park to be held on April 29, 2017 – Rockin’ Red Music Fest. The event will include the closure of the west 300 block of 7th Street to allow event participants to pass between both sections of the park. The event includes music, games and food trucks.

 

The City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting an event in South Park on June 25, 2017 – Summer Fest Arts and Craft Show.  The event will include the closure of Massachusetts Street from North Park Street to South Park Street to allow participants to pass between both sections of the park.

 

Fine Thyme Food will be hosting a fourth of July event in Burcham Park – KAWBOOM. This event held on July 4, 2017 and will include activities and a fireworks display. This event will include the closure of a portion of west 2nd Street near the entrance of the park.

 

The City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting an event in South Park on September 10, 2017 – Fall Arts and Craft Festival.  The event will include the closure of Massachusetts Street from North Park Street to South Park Street to allow participants to pass between both sections of the park.

 

Be Your Best Self, Inc. will be hosting an event on Saturday September 30, 2017 – Hot Rod Hullabaloo. The event will include the closure of Massachusetts Street from North Park Street to South Park Street to allow participants to pass between both sections of the park. The event will include a hot rod car show and live music.

 

Van Go will be hosting an event on Saturday October 7, 2017 – Dinner on the Curve. This event will include the closure of East 7th at the curve to New Jersey Street. The event will include low volume live music, dinner and an auction to raise funds for their organization.
