Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:

 

Approve the construction of a new restroom at the Youth Sports Complex, CIP Project No. PR1704, to various vendors, in the amount of $99,304.

 

Executive Summary:

Installation of a new restroom at the Youth Sports Complex was budgeted in the 2017 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) at an estimated cost of $120,000.

 

The Parks and Recreation Department has bid the needed components to construct the project and have requested City Manager approval to proceed with the project. Following are the successful bidders:

 

Pre-fabricated concrete restroom building  - CXT Inc. $47,304

Water and sewer installation – RD Johnson Excavating $46,000

Concrete Sidewalks – Hick’s Classic Concrete $6,000 (estimated)

 

Total Cost:  $99,304

The fiscal impact to the City is $99,304   This project was budgeted in the 2017 Parks and Recreation General Fund budget and 2017 CIP (CIP# PR1704).
