ORDINANCE NO. 9332

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE SALE, POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to City of Lawrence Code Section 4-105(E), the prohibition of the sale, possession, and consumption of alcoholic liquor on public property shall not apply on the 900 block of New Hampshire Street from Saturday May 27, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. to Sunday May 28, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. and in the 100 block of E 8^th Street on Friday May 26, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to Sunday May 28, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., associated with the Lawrence Buskerfest, provided the sale, possession and consumption are pursuant to City of Lawrence and State of Kansas law.

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
