Executive Summary: |
This subdivision application is for the subdivision of an existing platted lot and vacated right-of-way into two commercial lots.
The project includes the dedication of new easements and right-of-way at the intersection of 31st Street and Iowa Street as shown on the Final Plat drawing.
On Wednesday, January 25, 2017 the Lawrence Douglas County Planning Commission approved a variance to allow the majority of the right-of-way for W. 31st Street and Iowa Street to remain in the current configuration. Additional right-of-way is being dedicated at the northeast corner. The administrative approval of the proposed Minor subdivision was subject to a few minor conditions that are technical in nature. The applicant submitted a revised plan to comply with the conditions of the administrative determination. There are no outstanding conditions associated with this application.
Public improvements are not required for this project.
The City Commission’s action on this application request is to accept the easements and rights-of-way as shown on the attached drawing.
