This is to inform you that the wood fired boiler that one city commissioner, his wife and several Lawrence police officers witnessed last spring continues to spew smoke and smell into my home and neighborhood.

I'm not asking for anything special. I would just like to be able to breathe the fresh air that the city just received a 4 STAR ranking for, continue to improve my property and neighborhood and be at peace with my neighbors.

As it is now, my property value is at risk, I will not let me grandchildren play in my yard and I will not let my 93 year old mother come here for Christmas due to the health issues this could cause.

I'm trying to make my property and neighborhood a better place to live. The old greenhouse property to my north is doing just the opposite. I support anyone working hard to make a living, but it doesn't have to be at the expense of my neighbors and me.

Please get this foul smelling wood fired boiler stopped.
