Approve the purchase of one (1) roll off container truck from Elliot Equipment Company, in the amount of $108,118. This purchase is part of the 2017 CIP replacement schedule (PW17F8). |

Executive Summary: |
The Capital Improvement Plan identified the replacement of one (1) roll off container truck in 2017 to replace unit #489 (PW17F8CIP). Unit #489 has been identified to meet the replacement criteria that utilize age, maintenance, and upkeep. Roll off container trucks are a vital function of commercial refuse operations. Central Maintenance received bids for this replacement that include a trade for unit #489. Bid B1646 was sent following the City’s purchasing policy and the low bid received was Elliott Equipment Company for a Freightliner/Galfab container truck. |
