Approve the purchase of one (1) rear load refuse truck from Downing Sales and Service, in the amount of $102,698. This purchase is part of the 2017 CIP replacement schedule (PW17F7). |

Executive Summary: |
The Capital Improvement Plan identified the replacement of one (1) rear load refuse truck in 2017 to replace an aging rear load fleet (PW17F7CIP). Unit #426 has been identified to meet the replacement criteria that utilize age, maintenance, and upkeep. Central Maintenance received bids for this replacement that include a trade for unit #426. Bid B1645 was sent following the City’s purchasing policy and the low bid received was Downing Sales and Service for an International/Pak-Mor refuse truck. |
