Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:

 

Accept dedication of right-of-way, utility easements and access easement, and vacate an existing access easement associated with the Final Plat, PF-16-00541, for Johnson Addition, located at 706 E 23rd St.

 

Executive Summary:

The Planning Commission approved the Johnston Addition Preliminary Plat (PP-16-00261) on August 22, 2016. The Final Plat is in conformance with the approved Preliminary Plat and was administratively approved on January 30, 2017. The plat includes the vacations and dedications listed below:

 

·         Vacation of a private access easement along the southern portion of the property. Dedication of a cross-access easement in the southeast corner of the lot.

·         Dedication of a 15 ft wide utility easement along the west side of the property.

·         Dedication of additional right-of-way for E 22nd Street.

 

The Final Plat has been placed on the City Commission’s agenda for acceptance of dedications easements and rights-of-way as shown on the plat and for the vacation of an existing access easement.
