Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:

 

Consider vacation of utility easement and dedication of utility easement to relocate services associated with Minor Subdivision MS-16-00373 Rooker Addition, located at 1217 Biltmore Drive.  Submitted by Grob Engineering Services, LLC for RP Lawrence LLC, property owner of record.

 

Approve vacation and accept dedication of relocated easement if appropriate.

 

Executive Summary:

The Minor Subdivision proposes a lot combination to accommodate a building expansion.  The building expansion requires a utility easement vacation and a dedication of a relocated easement so that services to the building can be provided and are not located under any structures.    The 15’ utility easement will be relocated approximately 45’ to the west of the current location.  All other easements associated with this property will remain the same.

Economic Development – Expansion of an existing business.

Fiscal Impact (Amount/Source):

The fiscal impact to the City is negligible.  This item was not in the 2017 budget and does not have a budgetary impact.
