Approve as “Signs of Community Interest” a request from the Lawrence Home Builders Association (LHBA) to place signs at various locations promoting their annual Lawrence Home Show from February 13 through February 20, 2017, with the condition that signs be placed on private properties with permission of the property owners. |

Executive Summary: |
The LHBA is requesting permission to display temporary event signs to promote the Lawrence Home Show, February 17-19, 2017. Signs would be located at intersections on South Iowa Street and on the premises of Home Show exhibitors. The signs are proposed to be 18” x 24” and 24” x 36” in size and would be placed on wire posts secured in the ground. Signs would be placed on Monday, February 13, and removed on Monday, February 20, 2017. LHBA has agreed to a condition that signs be placed on private properties with permission of property owners rather than being placed in street rights of way. |
