Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:
Deny request to establish No Parking along one (1) side of Kensington Road between 25^th Terrace and 27^th Street.
Executive Summary:		Kensington Road is classified as a “collector” street in a residential area, paved approximately 26 feet wide, with parking permitted on both sides of the street, and, a daily traffic volume of approximately 720 vehicles per day. At the December 5 Traffic Safety Commission Meeting, no residents addressed the Commission on this item; however, an e-mail had been received in opposition to the request. Member of the Commission noted that removing parking may actually increase the speed of traffic on the street. The Traffic Safety Commission voted unanimously, 8-0, to recommend denying No Parking along one (1) side of Kensington Road between 25^th Terrace and 27^th Street.
