Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:
Receive requested resolution from Brook Creek Neighborhood Association that would establish permanent conservation restrictions on Brook Creek Park, and refer the request to staff to coordinate reviews by the appropriate advisory boards and commissions.
Executive Summary:		The Brook Creek Neighborhood Association drafted the attached resolution and submitted it to Parks and Recreation staff for consideration and adoption by the City. The resolution would establish an agreement between the City and the Brook Creek Neighborhood Association that would create permanent conservation restrictions and maintenance and facility requirements on the 43 acres of wooded land located within the boundary of Brook Creek Park. Additionally, the resolution would limit encroachment of adjacent land uses into the wooded area. The recommended action would refer the request to staff which will coordinate the review by the appropriate advisory boards and commissions. Staff is researching the document and will present its findings. Following the review process, the requested resolution will be forwarded to the City Commission for consideration.
