Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:
Approve the purchase of one (1) John Deere 6155M Tractor with loader, for $122,551.12, utilizing the Kansas State Lawn Equipment Contract.
Executive Summary:		The Utilities Department has exercised the Kansas Contract pricing for the addition of one tractor and loader for use in operations related to the Wakarusa Wastewater Treatment plant.  This unit will be used to pull an irrigation water/biosolids reel, a disk for biosolids integration, and unloading palletized materials. The tractor is needed for biosolids re-use to agricultural land at the Wakarusa River WWTP in meeting EPA Part 503 regulations. This tractor will have the capability of incorporating the biosolids into the land. The tractor will also be used for unloading & handling chemical totes for the treatment plant.
